What Whirled: Second Wind is
A social virtual world: you get an avatar, a room of your own, and a city full of other players' rooms to visit. Here's what's actually working, what isn't yet, and what's planned.

Working today
- Custom avatars, built from a curated set of looks
- Player-owned rooms you can decorate and furnish
- Visiting other players' rooms
- Friends, mail, and in-room chat
- Groups and parties
- The in-game economy: earning and spending coins
- Buying, selling, and trading items
- 37 playable games, solo and multiplayer, from quick board games up to real-time multiplayer arenas
- Uploading your own art as an item, and earning a share when someone else buys it
Not in yet
- Costume remixing: recoloring and reskinning outfits the way the original allowed. We looked into this in real depth; the original format needs more reverse-engineering work before it's possible.
- Trophies and achievements
- A fuller creator toolkit for building whole rooms and games, not just single items
What's planned
Mobile client
Already underway: the same tech as the browser client, rebuilt natively. Room browsing, chat, and social features (mail, friends, parties) work there today. Games are just getting started: one is playable so far, with the rest of the 37 to follow.
Community SDK
A fuller toolkit for building whole rooms and games, not just uploading single items the way you can today. This comes after the core world is stable.
