Couchpilot
A free, honest phone remote for Android TV and Google TV: a real D-pad, a keyboard for typing on the TV, and one-tap app launching. No ads, no subscription, no tracking.
INDEPENDENT APP & GAME STUDIO
Apps that respect the people using them.
Windstorm Services is a small studio in Shamokin, Pennsylvania. We build our own apps and games that are straightforward about what they do, careful with your data, and usable by everyone.

What we're making
In development
Whirled: Second Wind
A fan-made revival of the classic Whirled virtual world, rebuilt from its open-sourced codebase to run in a modern browser without Flash. Getting ready for testers.
How we build
The rules we hold ourselves to
Honest by default
No dark patterns and no surprise charges. Our apps say plainly what they do, and what they don't.
Private
We collect only what an app genuinely needs. Couchpilot collects nothing at all.
Accessible
Screen readers, high contrast, large controls and left-handed layouts are part of the plan, not an afterthought.
Small and reachable
One developer, working in the open. Email us and you'll hear back from the person who built it.
